Gwyn Ap Nudd is said to be king of the fairies in the Celtic underworld of Annwn. He hunts those who are bad and is assisted by other magical creatures. Legend has it he rides on horseback along with pack of hounds called the Cŵn Annwn (Dogs of Annwn). There is little to nothing known about the King, the first mention of Gwyn Ap Nudd is within the Black book of Carmathen within Poem XXXIV in which he has dialogue
